My 2009 Recap

As this year concludes itself, I think about every thing that has transpired over this year. Happy times and sad times in all. Ones that have directly included me and ones I simply looked at from the outside. Things I have picked up and things I have dropped. As I being this recap I will start in Jan.

January 2009.

-My sis and I were in a minor fender bender. As she put it, we started the year off with a BANG!, literally. Lol.

-President Barack Obama was inaugurated into office.

-Broke my 2nd digital camera (whomp).

February 2009.

-Watching the Grammy Red Carpet Pre-show I learned Chris Brown and Rihanna were allegedly in an altercation with each other. As the show continued I learned that Chris Brown had turned him self in to the police.

-I joined twitter. My first tweet was something along the lines of reciting the lyrics to Rihanna -Rehab. I didn't tweet on it again for another 3-4 weeks.

March 2009.

-After running across one of my youtube videos where I did a review on her book author, Monica McKayhan asked would I like to write reviews of teen books off Kimani Tru publishing for her newsletter. I accepted first beginning to write reviews for her new and upcoming books.

April 2009.

-The 16th of April to be exact I turned 15. Celebrated with going bowling with some friends and family. Had fun. Oh and I received my third digital camera in a year. (sad I know)

May 2009.

-Celebrated my sis and my grandmother's birthday.

-Got Chrisette Michele's album Epiphany and fell in love with it!!

June 2009.

-Took finals and began my Summer Break '09.

-Hurt my wrist playing tennis the Saturday tennis practiced actually started.

-Switched to a different park for my tennis lessons.

-Considered quitting tennis. Decided against it.

-Began using twitter heavily. Also watching people on Blogtv.

-Recognized my slight love of writing as a technique to express my feelings.

-Tragedy struck when King of Pop Michael Jackson died. Also Farrah Fawcett died the same day.

July 2009.

-Partially watched the televised funeral of MJ.

-Along with some other fans of Broadway, I created a fan twitter for him. Then eventually a fan Youtube, while others created a fan Myspace.

-Shared two of my poems on Phatfffat Idol.

-I declared some of the ppl on twitter apart of my twitfam.

-Went to see "This Is It." Came to the conclusion that MJ's concert was gonna be bomb.

-Slowly began allowing myself to open up to different types of music.

August 2009.

-Went to tournaments for tennis. Didn't really want to be there considering I felt as is I hadn't improved much. Anyway I lost. Moving along. Had the end of the year picnic. It was fun. We had the huge water fight. We accomplished to drench the head coach in water.

-My family accomplished to throw a surprise picnic party for my mother. She loved it and was truly surprised. She was amazed how we kept the truth from her because usually she would figure out we were up to something.

-Went to see "I Can Do Bad All By Myself." Loved that movie cried during the whole thing.

September 2009.

-Got Trey Songz- Ready album and fell in love with it. It was such a good CD; not a track on there I didn't like.

-Returned to school for my 10th grade year.

October 2009.

-My second older sister moved out the house. Didn't like that very much in some ways because she was the one I always went to talk to. And we had some crazy moments and insiders. Still miss her but I have accepted it, I guess. I'm still waiting for he to get done with my room at her house. Lol.

-Realized Geometry and Biology won't be as easy as I had anticipated. Got to work harder!

-Halloween. Took my lil sis and her friend trick or treating. And yes I was a big kid and dressed up too.

November 2009.

-Saw my highly anticipated movie "New Moon." Loved it!!! Also saw "Precious." I was a good movie, but very sad.

-My cousins came into town for Thanksgiving. Had fun them. Went to the Thanksgiving Parade as always. Cheered for my school as the Marching Band marched in the parade.

December 2009.

-Took finals and got out for Christmas Break.

-Went to my friends Sweet 16 where she did it up. We named the Limo driver Mr. Gorgeous Limo Driver Guy aka Robert. Lol.

-Mac gave me some advice I will forever hold and never forget.

-Spent Christmas Eve cooking and wrapping gifts. Trying to multi task making tacos, baking cookies, and bake a cake I burnt some of the cookies. Stopped. Waited. Started over. Put cookies and juice out for Santa (hehe. Ima sucha big kid). Watched A Christmas Story marathon.

-Woke up Christmas morning and opened up my presents. Enjoyed watching as my family opened my gifts to them. My other family came over and we ate a bomb dinner. Opened more gifts and went to sleep.

-Read 250 pg books in 3 days. Then ready a 800 book in 2 1/2 days.

So that is my 2009 Recap. Nothing too exciting happened but overall it was a good year. I thank you all, who have made my year a good one. People I know personally and people I don't, thank you all. As I leave 2009 I hope and wish you will make 2010 a better year then 2009. I Love y'all, continue on with your success as I will do the same.

So, today I am coming to you with the single "You're the One" by Jermaine Dupree's new artist Dondria. Dondira became known for her amazing vocals on youtube and was recognized by JD in 2007. She was signed and came out with her first single "Can't Stop." After some ups and downs she is back with her single off her debut album "Dondria Vs. Phatfffat." Phatfffat is what she became known as on youtube, but is also a nickname that she holds for always being hungry...lol. You're the one came out Nov. 24 for download on both Amazon.com and iTunes. Support Dondria and go buy You're the One. Also, don't forget to request, request, request "You're the One" on your local radio station. Dondria Vs. Phatfffat is exected to drop Sping 2010.
